Elevate began by bringing women's health care into your home. We've grown into something that can reach more of you, more of the time: expert-designed programs you can access anywhere, built by pelvic health physiotherapists around the latest evidence. We no longer offer in-home visits — but if you'd like 1:1 care, you'll find Di seeing patients (virtually across BC and in person) at Metrotown Orthopedic & Sports Physiotherapy in Burnaby.
We specialize in perinatal care, and can support you through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause related concerns at any age! Our goal is to help you stay active, mobile and healthy throughout your life.

A physiotherapist-created guide to help you heal well and return to movement with confidence after a C-section.
Written by a pelvic health physiotherapist, this guide walks you through recovery from the first days after surgery through your return to exercise — with practical, evidence-informed guidance you can actually use while caring for a newborn.
Inside, you'll find:
Day-by-day guidance from days 1–3 through 12+ weeks postpartum
Incision and scar care, including when and how to start scar massage
Pain management, safe movement, and log-roll techniques for getting in and out of bed
Pelvic floor and core reconnection exercises, with linked video demonstrations
A realistic walking and exercise progression, including cycling, strength, and return to running
Home and bathroom setup tips to protect your incision during everyday tasks
Warning signs to watch for, and when to reach out to your healthcare provider or a pelvic health physiotherapist
This is general education, not a replacement for individualized care — but it's the guide we wish every C-section patient had in hand before leaving the hospital.
