Meet the Team

  • Diane is not accepting new patient’s at this time

Diane is a Registered Physiotherapist in North Vancouver, British Columbia Canada.  She sees a mixture of sport & orthopedic patient’s as well as Clinical Pilates & Pelvic Health patients. As a multi-sport athlete growing up and now a distance runner she understands how important sport and activity is in our overall health, both psychologically and physically and wants to help everyone stay active and injury free.

Diane saw that when patient’s were out of the “acute injury” phase they often would go back to their sports, daily lives, habits and have a hard time keeping up with their injury prevention exercises because let’s face it, they’re often really boring. Unfortunately this means patients would often come back with similar injuries months or years down the road. She wanted to create a home based program for people to do in adjunction with their preferred sports, or daily routines.

Diane has a Kinesiology and Masters of Physiotherapy Degree from UBC, and has completed additional training in STOTT Pilates, IMS/ FDN, Herman & Wallace, and PHS Pelvic Health Continuing Education.

  • CURRENTLY ON MATERNITY LEAVE

Allison’s love for adventuring in the mountains, and all the injuries that come with it, lead her to a career as a Physiotherapist. She strives to help clients stay active through all stages of life and has a special place in her heart for supporting people through matrescence.

Allison graduated top of her class from the University of Melbourne Doctor of Physiotherapy program in 2014, after the completion of her undergraduate degree at the University of British Columbia in Psychology (BApsych). During her time in Australia, Allison completed intensive training in Clinical Pilates and gained experience working with a variety of populations ranging from weekend warriors to high-level athletes. Upon returning to Vancouver, Allison continued her Clinical Pilates training with STOTT, while also pursuing a specialization in Pelvic Floor/Women’s Health Physiotherapy. Allison has also obtained certification in Dry Needling/IMS, strengthened her manual therapy skills through coursework with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association’s Orthopedic Division and developed skills in the management of shoulder injuries.

Allison believes the best outcomes are achieved by treating the whole person and incorporates a variety of treatment approaches for her clients including education, goal setting, lifestyle coaching, Clinical Pilates, IMS, manual therapy, pain education and home exercise programs. While Allison has experience working with a wide variety of clientele, she especially enjoys working with people through their pregnancy journeys and helping them return to the activities they love. She believes this is achieved by empowering her clients through education about the changes in their body and assisting in maintaining movement and strength when needed.

Outside of work, you’ll find Allison in the mountains rock climbing, hiking, camping and skiing with her young son, husband and dog.

Where do you offer in-home services?

Physiotherapy in-home services are offered on the North Shore in BC.

Can I claim the in-home appointments under my extended health benefits?

Yes! We direct bill most extended healthcare providers.

Can I claim virtual appointments under my extended benefits?

Yes! As long as you are in BC you can claim virtual appointments under your extended healthcare plans. We direct bill most extended healthcare providers.

If you are outside of BC we can NOT bill your extended healthcare plan but can still see you as a health coaching client.

What if I have stairs or a small home?

We are used to stairs and work in a variety of spaces! If you can have the space the size of a yoga mat cleared we can set up our treatment tables. Some people prefer to use their beds for pelvic health physiotherapy which is also fine. Please let your therapist know before meeting if you think your space might pose a challenge.

How many sessions do I need?

This is something to ask your therapist during your initial visit, each person and their unique condition will need differing levels of care and frequency of appointments. We always do our best to find something that works for you!

FAQs - Online Programs

Is there a timeline I have to access the online programs by?

No! You have LIFETIME access to the program you have purchased.

Can I claim the Online Programs under my extended health benefits as physiotherapy?

No. Unfortunately you can not claim these programs under any extended health benefits. Physiotherapy needs to be 1-on-1 for extended health to cover it and must be a live/in-person treatment. We tried to create the 6 week program to be comparable to 1 private physiotherapy treatment session.

What is the payment plan for the Online Programs?

The payment plan is a specific amount of money you will pay monthly for 6 months, this will pay off the full price of the plan in smaller increments. This helps alleviate the monthly expenses and still allows you to access all of the resources. Remember the program access is lifetime, so once you’ve finished your 6 months of payments you will continue to have access to the program for as long as you want!

I’m worried the videos will be too hard for me. Are there modifications if I can’t do something?

Yes! We understand everyone is unique and we are striving to meet you where you are at. If something hurts please DON’T continue to do it. Try a modification suggested in the video, or that you know from past experiences and if it’s still bothering you schedule a visit to your local healthcare provider to determine an alternative exercise for you.

Are classes held at specific times during the day?

All classes are available 24/7, 365. Yep, you can access any video at any time. We have flexible videos that range from 10 minutes to 90 minutes in length so you’ll always be able to find a workout that fits your day… or night!
